How sad..

Thu Dec 3, 2009, 8:02 PM
I just ran across a particularly saddening deviantART page (which is almost definitely one in a hoard of millions) made by a 16 year old girl in the U.S. The gallery consisted of absolutely nothing but photos of that kid who played the werewolf on the damn Twilight series. And she seemed to take the "artwork" in her gallery very seriously, stating that, because she has a pretty good amount of favorites on each image, it indicates that she's a good artist.

..actually, her wording was more along the lines of "obviously im not artless of i wouldnt be gettingall these favs!"

How precious. :aww:

Now I'm not the sort to go around spamming on people's pages, no matter how dreadfully offensive their idea of "art" is, but in this instance I feel the strong urge to send the child a message expressing exactly how depressed for the state of humanity her page makes me feel.

Rabid Twi-fans are bad enough in general, but when they start trying to pass off their dribbling fandom as coherent thought or, God forbid, "art," someone seriously needs to be smacked; as hard as is humanly possible without causing the receiver to fall into a coma.

Shame on me for expecting fellow teenagers to possess an in-depth thought process. I suck.

I find the two biggest similarities between dogs and underwear to be thus:

The less there is, the more expensive it is.

um, if you want I could probably send the mp3's over email. :aww: they're small enough files for hotmail not to freak out and die.

YES! That would be so incredibly beyond awesome!

I do have a question though: I've heard you sing, but never your sister. Out of curiosity, who was leading in vocals for this one?

Going through your gallery again, and hoh damn...I was reminded once again of your skill, prowess, and excellence in all things visual.

I love you so much. I miss you. Marry me. Please? :D

Just remember you're so good. Not to say "YOU CAN NEVER IMPROVE", but don't sell yourself short in your abilities.

...

I need to buff up my gallery with more awesome...eventually. :D

I still wonder how/why I got into Perpich sometimes. :D
